This origami boat base is used as the starting point to fold various origami projects including the origami table and photo frame.
Fold paper in half on both horizontal and vertical axis as well as both diagonal axis. Crease well and unfold.
Fold the right and left sides to the center. Crease well.
Now fold the top and bottom halves to the center. Crease well.
Now unfold the top half. Then make 2 diagonal folds for the top layer only.
Fold the top back down and press paper flat to form a “roof” shape.
Rotate paper.
And your origami boat base is complete!
