The Origami Blintz Base supposedly got its name from the blintz pancake, which is a pancake whereby the 4 corners are folded into the middle to protect the pancake filling.
Start off with a square origami paper.
Now make a triangular fold from bottom left to top right. Crease well and unfold.
start with whichever corner you like. I’m going to start with the bottom right corner. Fold that into the center. Make sure the diagonal creases line up.
Now I will fold the bottom left corner into the center.
Fold the top left corner into the center.
Finally fold the top right corner into the center. That’s the Blintz Base!
